Nazli Nahidi (b. Tehran, Iran) is an artist living and working in Toronto, Canada. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from OCAD University, in 2014. Her work is emotionally charged and in part echoes the visceral effects of emotions as well as personifies feelings. She explores themes of connection, disassociation, closeness, fear, and being. As an emerging muralist, Nazli has painted two large outdoor murals in her neighbourhood in various capacities including a private mural of 8’x 24’. In 2019 she illustrated a digital mural at the Fringe Festival’s temporary patio, Postscript.
